Combining reservations myself

I am trying to combine 3 reservations, and have not been successful.
I know I can call in, but I have done this before online, and don't understand why it is not working for me now. I know others have done this online. Any ideas?

Try modifying one of the reservations to include all your dates. If successful, you can cancel the other two. To be successful, you would need to have enough unused points to complete the new reservation (because you can't cancel the other two first if you don't want to risk losing them altgether) and there would need to be availability for the nights not originally in the reservation you chose to modify.

AFAIK, MS CMs are the only one that can combine separate reservations if you want to reuse points and not risk losing something.

Thank you Carol. I wound up calling MS and they did it. But I know I modified before just combining what I already had and there was not new availability. I don't know if they changed it. Maybe I am just remembering wrong.
