Combining Reservations at 6 days out??

I currently have 2 reservations for the identical room, a standard 2BR at AKV-K. The first reservation is for 2 nights and then a second reservation for the next 3 nights. I have it this way because I have a waitlist for the first two nights for a standard view 2BR at BWV. Since we are traveling in the middle of October, I do not have a lot of hope for the waitlist to fill. Since it is the same amount of points, I have nothing to lose by setting it up for a 7 day expiration. My question is, if it doesn't fill, will I be able to call MS and have them combine my two AKV reservations into one so that we do not have to check out and check in? Is 6 days notice too late to have the reservations combined?

Yes, they can do that...but, just so you know for future, you can book it as one and then set the wait list up to just replace those two nights...I have done that in the past.

I typically call MS to make sure it is noted correctly but have yet to have a problem this way.

Of course, I have also done it the way you have as well...
