Combining points and cash reservations

Can both cash and point reservations be made thru DVC MS?

Will they make cash reservations and let me use my Disney Club card for 20% off?

You can make cash reservations through MS only for DVC resorts. They do not let you use any type of discount except the extremely rare DVC 25% off discount. I used this discount a number of times years ago, but haven't found it available for the last couple of years. They don't take the Disney Club card through MS.

If I make a Vero Beach reservation on my own, will DVC link it with my points reservation if I call them so we don't change rooms?

They will reference the ressies, but they will not guarantee that you will not have to change rooms. In fact, you may have to check out and check back in, as I have done in the past. If it is possible, they will let you stay in the same room, however.
