We've ended up with 3 x half-board plus meal vouchers each for next month. We'll be having four meals, two are sorted (Cape Cod and Parkside Diner) and I'm trying to make the decision whether to use the vouchers for face value at Inventions Sunday Brunch or use them at Agrabah Cafe (and swallow the very small loss!)

If we're able to combine them with shareholders discount it will be (slightly) better value to use them at the Brunch however I've read people aren't always successful doing this and if we're one of the ones who aren't it will be better for us to pay out of pocket and save the vouchers for Agrabah.

We're going to ask when we're seated if it's possible to combine the two. I know in theory it should be possible but as is so often the case it does seem to depend on the CM at the time.

What experience has everyone else received when using vouchers at face value - were you able to use your shareholders discount too or did they refuse it?

Hi Elaine,

This week we used vouchers in conjunction with our shareholder card, no problem.

We also used the card with the 20% off birthday voucher :thumbsup2

The only time we used the vouchers, I wasn't a shareholder at the time, so don't really know.

However, I'm sure I've read in the t&c's previously that no other discount can be used and it did mention shareholders/ap's. I've had a quick look and can't find it now, so hopefully with markpsych's experience you should be able to :)

Thanks for replying, Mark and Julie, hopefully we will be as successful as you were, Mark. :)

In my experiace it depends on the CM and the resturant manager. So times you get it some times you don't.

If I'm told no, then I ask for the bill to be split up so the drinks are put onto another bill so at least I get the shareholders discount on the drinks.

Great advice ::yes:: we'll try that if we can't get discount for the whole bill, thank you.
