Sorry if this has previously been answered but I can't seem to find it using the search tool...
I was looking at the kids' and adult menus for the various restaurants that I found on this site and I can easily see that my DD (13) would like items off both. Can she order say the appetizer off the kids menu (e.g. a salad of letttuce, cucumber and tomato) with an entree (say grilled salmon) off the adult menu???

Anyone ever done this?

Our DS10 did that last December. He would frequently order an appetizer from the adult menu, an entree from the children's menu and was about 50/50 on the dessert menus. We never had a problem in any restaurant with him doing this.

My DS ordered mussels and a steak from the adult menu at Le Cellier last November but wanted the chocolate mousse from the kid's dessert list.

No problem then! :goodvibes

We just booked for Feb. and I called WDW dining and specifically asked this because my 10 yo doesn't want many of the adult entrees. I was told that ordering off both menus is fine so long as it's 1 appetizer, 1 entree, and 1 dessert that this can be mixed.
