Combining Disney Gift Cards

I may have missed this news, but I was pretty excited this morning to discover that I can now combine my Disney gift card balances on to one card!

I went to disneygiftcard.com to check the remaining balance on one of my cards, and saw the option to "transfer balance" under the "manage cards" menu... I'm now happily combining away. No more stack of gift cards to bring on the cruise - Woot!

It does look like some cards aren't eligible to transfer, though. I had a couple of $50 cards that wouldn't load, but I had success with a ton of others. Maybe the fixed value ones can't be transferred? Anything is better than nothing, though!

Yep I did mine last week when I saw it written somewhere on how to combine them. So much more efficient. I only could load 5 at a time then delete them when transferred (and showed zero balance from the transfer) then I could add another 5.
