Combining DDP and TIW

If DH and I purchase the DDP and have a TIW, card can we use both. I know that we cannot combine them with the DDP meals. Could we eat our DDP meal (entre, dessert and non alcohol beverage) and then put an Appetizer and alcohol on another ticket and use the TIW card for that? Seems like a read a thread that we could, but can't find it now and wanted to be sure--otherwise we will just do one or the other. TIA

Yes. The server will give you a bill for any items ordered that are not covered by the dining plan. You can use the TiW discount for those additional items.

Yes you can just make sure that you tell the server you are on the ddp and are using the TIW card for the appie and drinks. We had a few servers charge our room instead of the DDP since they saw the TIW card. One actually still charged the room for tip even after we left cash to cover it. So make sure you check everything.

You can either order via the mail using the form on the passholder website, or purchase at any guest relations window. If you order by mail, the time on the card will begin as soon as they process your order and mail the card.
