Combining 2 separate ressies (same time)

"Best Value" for a CS credit depends on how you define value.

If "breakfast is really overpriced for cash" equals value, sure. It's like looking at a Kohl's receipt that says the original price on a pair of pajamas was $46 but because you got them for $20 you saved more than 50%, even though you could have gotten the same pajamas at Target for $21 not on sale.

For food quantity at breakfast, it's less of a "value." The average Bounty platter, which is lower priced, has more food.

Lunch is a good meal. Pricing isn't way out of line with places like Pecos Bill's. It's an okay value.

But BOG breakfast is inflated in price to make DDP - which is a huge profit center for Disney - look "like such a good deal."

You're right. But since we have DDP, we wanted to make the best out of it.

Also, the reason to get BOG breakfast is to go have breakfast instead of waiting outside.
That's why we're not doing BOG breakfast on our 3rd day at MK, as it opens at 8.
Even with PPO, is it still not a good idea?

I'd still be apt to get a Mickey straw, leave, and get Starbucks in a bit. PPO isn't that big a thing with a 2YO given that the child won't be tall enough to ride most of the big ticket rides.

I think that in order to determine if this meal is a good value on the DDP, one must first determine if you would order the meal if you were not using the plan. For me, this is the center of value when using the DDP, and when determining if any restaurant will be a value. For my family, we would order the entire meal if we go for breakfast, so if we allocate one credit towards this meal, it is a good value. IF I would only order a cupcake and coffee, but because I want to drive up my "savings" so I order the entire breakfast, well.....not so much any longer.

BOG breakfast pricing is inflated and I think that the reason for this lies deeper than simply making it look like a great value on the plan. I think that for this restaurant, the DDP is used to even out the overall bottom line for this restaurant during breakfast hours.

As for us, we are do cereal, milk, some fruits, and yogurt for breakfast. I also feel it is inflated but the reason why we're doing this is more importantly, we have PPO ressies at 8:00, able to order food in advance, I thought we're taking an advantage of it.

Do you know if we can just order 1 CS and share?

If you are doing this solely for early entry into the MK, please be sure to keep an eye on the hours. MK will often change their open by an hour, and you do not want to miss that first hour of park time.

Absolutely! I think that if you share, and just pay for an extra drink you will have plenty.

Yes. For sure. We go to MK 3 times, and 1st day is special ticketed event in the morning, so I doubt that they will change the hour and the 3rd day is already EMH day. So we booked 2 PPO.

Oh awesome. Then we'll just order 1 breakfast. =D

So true at Kohl's - love when they tell me I've saved $300, as you said to make it look like a good value, as if I would have paid that to start!:rotfl2: Would much rather pay a little more for CP brft, for more food and choices, and my fave characters - much better value for us! But lunch at BOG is good value, because it is a sit down meal where you are served like TS(although you get your silverware and drink) in a unique setting.
