Combined cash stay and points stay - are they on same inventory?

I'm thinking of doing a combined cash and points stay, using the cash for a Saturday night.

Are cash rooms on the same inventory as points rooms? For example, if using just points and there was availability for a Sat-Fri stay, would the room availability be the same if I was to use cash for the Sat night and points for the remainder of the stay? Or in the second case, would they then have to look in a separate inventory for the Saturday night?

Cash room inventory has several sources, but they are not taken from the point room pool, as here are oftern cash rooms, but no pont room available.

Member Cash rooms often come from the same sources as CRO cash rooms, most notably Member trades. When a member trades to a non-DVC location, those rooms are placed into a cash inventory to offset the cost of the trade. Member cash and CRO cash can pull from that cash inventory pool. The member 25% discout, however, isn't always available.
