We are adding a trip to DL to stay at the GCV in January. I am trying to figure out of a combined annual pass for WDW and DL makes sense for us or not. I've searched the DVC site and can't find any reference to a combined annual pass much less what the discount would be for us as DVC members for the cost of the pass. Help! Where should I be looking?

I'm headed to DL on Sunday. I always purchase the Deluxe DL AP. It does have some backout days but usually not when we are there. I bought it last September and will use it again on this trip. The Premier would have been a little cheaper but having separate expiration dates from my WDW AP made it worth it because I could stretch out the use.

Last time I looked at the numbers it worked if you would want the Premium pass at both locations. But without any discount being available on it and if the deluxe pass is what you'd normally get then it was less expensive to buy those individually with the DVC discounts.

The Disney Premier Passport is $1,010.82 including tax.

There are no discounts. The prices are the same for all purchases. Makes no difference if adult or child, new or renewal, DVC Member, Florida or Southern California resident.

It gives all benefits of the WDW Premium Annual Pass and the DLR Premium Annual Pass. No blockout dates. Parking is included.

Wow! That is way more than I expected. Over $1000? Yikes!

I have the annual pass for WDW that was on special last year for $399 I think (something like $427 with tax) for DVC members. It expires at the end of October so I thought for my December trip I'd consider buying a pass that covered both WDW and DL if there was a DVC discount on such a thing. I guess not!

We only need 5 days at DL and there is little chance I'll be back within a year as we only go every few years to the west coast. I guess a standard 5 day parkhopper for DL is in our future.

Thanks for the info, everyone. I knew the DISboards people would be able to answer my question. I should have just started here in the first place! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

You do get a 20% off discount on merchandise and 15% off food with a DL Premium (includes Premier) AP. The food discount is on ALL food, both QS and TS (not very many locations) throughout both parks. It doesn't cover snacks at carts or Ice Cream. It's still a lot more than a 5 day hopper, but depending on how much you spend on these other items, it might be beneficial to have one AP in the group for the discounts.
