Has anyone used this company? Are they reliable?
Their dining package seems to be a great value, is it too good to be true?
Any help would be appreciated!

When things get censored like that it means you can't post them on the DIS, I would take it out of your last post, or expect it to be deleted.

If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

I've seen many people discussing different companies on here. Why would one cause a problem? Not being difficult, I really am curious.

More like the bottom of the guidelines:

FILTERED WORDS, NAMES and URLS

The DIS is a privately owned web site and we reserve the right to restrict any outside commercial ventures at our discretion. We will not discuss the reasons behind why specific websites are filtered and any discussion regarding the word filter may be deleted. If you have questions or comments about this or any other DISboards policy, you can address with the webmasters at admin@wdwinfo.com.

1-I'm not using profanity
2-I'm not advertising
3-I agree that I don't own these boards and they can have any rules they want.
4-I started the thread to try to get help for my family's vacation. Should I take this to another thread as the problem seems to be in creating a thread for my question?
Thank you

Don't you also have to get to so many posts before you can post a link....otherwise its *** out?

You are likely talking about a travel company that is in direct competition to a company that is connected to the DIS boards. Therefore they will not allow you to post the name.

And dinning packages at Disneyland are NOT a good value. In nearly all cases you will at best break even on what you paid and worst you will actual lose money.

I understand that and a lot of people had said that getting them from the Disney company is not a deal, it's dollar for dollar.
So when I saw the "company in question"'s package, I was impressed.
It was $209 and had $100 worth of dollar value vouchers, 2 regular meals, and 1 each character breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That's a deal.
I was just trying to find out if it was a scam or a reputable company.

Hmmm...I would try to see if they have reviews on yelp or tripadvisor. Good luck!

It's not the thread. It's the whole board.

Is it ok to say that this policy bums me out? I mean, how many threads a day talk about touring plans or ridemax? Not to mention dozens of hotels and their websites. It's just a little odd for a planning site to not allow the discussion of all planning tools.

Sorry to complain but it just seems rather draconian.

Eh, they always have their reasons. And the fact that there are so very very FEW sites that get starred out, to me, says something.

The page that you found quoting this price for Mickey's plan is totally outdated. The dining plan does not operate like that anymore. I believe those prices are from 2009.

I have posted the guidelines that say that policies of the DIS will not be discussed on the boards. If you truly have an issue with the policies that the owners have made for this free forum you are using, please contact them directly to discuss. You can email them at admin@wdwinfo.com (just note that they do not owe you or me the reasons why they have made certain decisions on how to run this site).

There are valid reasons why websites are filtered on these forums, and the owners do not need to explain themselves to anyone who posts on these boards.

I am closing this thread. I also deleted the posts that were questioning the policies of the owners of this site that we are allowed to use for free.
