We are just beginning to start thinking about our next trip and I've been researching the DVC's. We stayed at a moderate last time, but would love the location of the Deluxe at a moderate price We would go with one of the rental companies, but before I get too excited, I wondered how likely is it to even get one. We would be looking at a popular time (March spring break - 2nd week of march). Would want a basic studio villa that can hold 5 (so either Grand Flor or WL) Is this even a possibility if you book a year in advance? Thanks for any advice!

Well, anything is possible BUT you are coming up on the 7 month window for the 2nd week of March so I would try to book ASAP if you are looking for 2015. In case you are unsure of how DVC works, owners at each resort can book 11 months in advance. At 7 months, booking opens up to all DVC owners so when that 7 month window opens, your chances drop dramatically. The difficult thing is that the broker you are looking at will have to have either a GFV or WLV owner with points available to book for you.
