Columbus Weekend

So without realizing it we planned a trip for Columbus Day weekend, is it going to be realy busy??? TIA

In a word, Yes. We go this time every year, and it is slower before the holiday weekend, and then it picks up considerably. Especially EPCOT because of F&W. Now it isn't so busy as to deter us from going, and it isn't like Spring Break, but you will notice it is busier. We can see it in the hotel. Slow and relaxed all week until the Friday before the holiday, then it really picks up.

We were at SSR for Columbus Day weekend last year Thurs-Mon, and we are doing the same thing this year. I didn't think it was too bad. Spring Break and the trip we took once in July were much worse. I think the busiest day was Sunday at Epcot for Food & Wine. The lines were terrible. And Monday we spent morning at SSR since we ad a late afternoon flight back home.

We had planned to do MNSSHP for Thurs night, had to switch it because my daughter was sick. Friday's wasn't too crowded, but it rained quite a bit, so that might have kept crowds away. This year we are planning to do the party again, but we want to spend more time doing F&W stuff.
