Hi all! I'm traveling solo and flying in on Saturday, Oct 8 and leaving for WDW at the end of the day on Sunday, Oct 9. After check in at my resort I want to hit the parks ASAP, I'm guessing around noon. I have a 2 day, 2 park pass with Express pass included. I want to pretty much ride EVERYTHING once, with the exception of kiddy rides (Woody WoodPecker, etc). I plan to stay till close both days with the understanding that US closes at 5pm for HHN, so I'll end my days at IoA. I haven't been to Universal in 10 years and never around a holiday before. I know it'll be busy, but is it too much to hope I can get everything accomplished over the weekend? I figured single rider line and Express pass would give me an edge, but I want to set realistic goals. Universal veterans, what do you think?

By afternoon many of the EP lines will have longer than usual waits, stil, things will move quicker than @ WDW where it will be packed too.

I'm going to assume you are staying onsite with the FOTL perk. I so, you should do well. Honestly, will think you could do many repeats of your favorites. Not to worry.

I'd suggest doing the EE to whatever park for HP on the 9th. If it's IoA, make sure to line up for the train early to be on the first one over, then dash to Gringotts.

IMO (we all have our own ways of touring) on HHN nights, it's best to do Studios first. Then, I'd move over to IoA since many buy a stay & scream ticket & roll in during the afternoon to segue into a holding pen, to avoid the lines outside the park.

You will have crowds at The studios that Saturday
Many come to that park for the rides and then wait it out for Hhn

You can skip over to ioa before 5 and should be fine there until it closes later

That 3 day weekend is a busy time in the parks

If you are onsite, the ep will be help you with line waits and EE

Yes, I'm staying onsite for the park perks. I plan on experiencing as much as I can at the Studios before hopping on the train over to Islands to finish out both days. You both have given me hope that I'll get to experience a lot despite the busy holiday weekend. I'm thinking of popping over to Bubba Gump on Saturday after park close for dinner. Anyone ever try their food? I have a Landrys card.

i've done Bubba Gump in city walk twice.
food was well cooked and good and some dishes were fantastic.
prices are high for most things on the menu in my opinion.

the ambiance and staff were wonderful.

since we have BG and can go anytime once back home, only hit it in city walk when with others that haven't experienced the place.

I still miss Motown the resturant that was taken done and replaced by BG......
