Columbus Day Weekend

I will be there Oct. 4th-8th. How much of an effect will the Columbus Day Weekend have on the crowds that week especially Friday.

I will be more crowded that weekend compared to the other weekends.... but over all, it should be too bad.... nothing like Easter & Christmas.... or Memorial & Labor Day....I wouldn't worry too much... I usually go that time of year.... and I will not go during Easter, July & Aug or week of Christmas.

Oct.4th through 8th is a Mon. to a Fri. before Columbus Day.That will be an EXCELLENT week to visit WDW. Most school Fall Breaks don't start until the second week of Oct. F&W Fest starts Oct. 1st and MNSSHP will be running then. That week of Oct. is probably the best week to pick out of the month!

We're going 10/7-10/12. Anyone know what the hours are usually over Columbus Day weekend? Do the parks stay open a little later, or is it business as usual?
We have gone later in the fall, Nov/Dec mostly. This is the first fall trip before the clocks turning back in late Oct. Just hoping we'll have more time in the parks!
