Columbus Day weekend

just realized there is no way i can top what we did for columbus day weekend last year - we were in disney!

We've never gotten that day off so we usually don't do a thing for it (yeah, live in Columbus and we can't even get the day off for the parades ) This year though, by pure coincidence, I will be in Chicago. I will be back at work on Monday though

Yep! Saturday the 12th is my friends wedding, so the kids will spend the night at my parents house and DH & I will have a night out. woohoo!

Is Columbus Day a "real" holiday?? Not around here it isn't.

And why should he get a "day" for getting lost??

I'll be chaparoning DD marching band outing to the Chicago parade on Columbus day. We had a great time last year!!
