Columbus Day Crowds???

Just wondering if anyone knows what the crowds will be like on Sunday and Monday? I'm going down this Saturday, and planning on Epcot on Sunday and MK on Monday. Will we be ok, or should we change our plans due to Columbus Day crowds? Anyone go at this time in the past?

I accidentally went on Columbus Day weekend in 2000... it was for our honeymoon so that wasn't the first thing on my mind when I picked those dates Granted before then, I had only been in the summer time, but really I didn't notice a difference in the crowds from the beginning of the week to the end. I think we were at Epcot on the holiday itself and MK on the day before. They were all rather light and not too bad to deal with at all. I have heard others say differently but I would say it was moderate, but not intolerable We were able to get on everything with very little wait that week (20 minutes or less for all)

I am guessing they will be hugh because the locals, including me, want to see the new fireworks at MK.

Oh I hadn't even thought of that!!! Very good point! Even I can't wait to see it when I go in December
