Ok, I have to admit - I didnt even know this place existed!!

We were on the DxDP last year and this year and we like a "sit down in the a/c and get waited on" lunch for a nice break in the middle of the hot June day...

But when we were walking toward the Haunted Mansion - we saw it..and the menu looks decent..and it appeared to be air conditioned inside....

So, how does the food taste?? It didnt look like an extensive menu, but it looked to have things our family would eat - but we would prefer "tasty" food!!

Anyone eaten there - any thoughts??

It's very good, and relatively tranquil as MK counter service places go. We had fried shrimp and tuna sandwich. Both excellent.

We love this and usually make it our lunch spot in the MK for a sandwich or some chowder. The tuna sandwich is great and very filling. Could easily be split depending on appetite.

It's good and we used to find that it wasn't as busy as Pecos Bills or Cosmic Rays, but I think the secret is out. Last time we were there we got in line at 11:20 to beat the lunch rush but had to wait 15 minutes just to place our order.

It's one of my family's favorites! We usually eat there twice during our trips. The tuna sandwich is wonderful. I also enjoy the fried shrimp and the fried fish. Try sitting upstairs to eat. It's much quieter up there!

It's probably the best CS restaurant in the Magic Kingdom, in my opinion. I highly recommend it, especially the upstairs seating area which can be less crowded than the downstairs area.

It was many years before I realized it wasn't a TS restaurant, but a CS. I do like the food ... nice change from burgers.

For WDW CS, I think its worth considering. They have an upstairs area as well as the lower level ... all A/C'd.

Loved this place ! It's the one counter service that we loved. Plus you can eat inside in the air conditioning. Their fried fish and fried shrimp were really pretty good and their chowder was also pretty good . It's nice too because it's kind of dark and cool and cozy. ( which isn't too bad on a REALLY hot day! )

Eaten here every trip we've made since 1984... Never packed like some establishments and always loved the chicken fingers...

Tuna Sandwich really is amazing! This is my favourite CS in MK, has some nice seating upstairs which is usually quiet and has good views of Liberty Square.

We love CCH and eat there every trip at least twice. It's nice and quiet upstairs and we love the tuna sandwich and the hummus sandwich!!!!

It's my favorite counter service in all of WDW!! The Anchors Aweight tuna sandwich is the best I've ever had. I also totally enjoy the Fish & Chips basket, and the hummus & brocolli slaw sandwich.

It's not a TS though - you mentioned being waited on for lunch - it's CS and you order your food & carry it yourself.

If you want a nice casual TS in MK for lunch try The Plaza. Very casual, a sandwich & burger type place, but TS.

As other have said, eating upstairs is so quiet & uncrowded.

The fish,chicken,chowder and salads are good, hoping to try the shrimp next time we go. I also hear great things about the tuna and hummus sandwich. It seems everything is pretty tasty.

Columbia Harbor House is one of my favorite quick service restaurants. I like the tuna salad sandwich and the lighthouse sandwich. Delish!

We didn't know it existed on our first two trips either! But we've been their multiple times now and it is always an excellent CS choice! I love the tuna sandwich, and it's nice and cool compared to the standard CS burger or pizza, especially on a hot day.

The bread on the tuna sandwich is sooo good. It is large enough to share for smaller appetites, but we usually eat a lite breakfast, so I can eat it all myself.
