Columbia Harbour House Question

Just nuggets. It's pretty much the same throughout the rest of the parks as well. They taste the same as the strips, just less meat and more breading.

Click on my link below and check out the review for Pinnochio Village Haus--they are the same.

I was afraid of that. Just saw the menu for Electric Umbrella and it says Chicken Strips there but it was last updated a year ago. Owell.

I loved those chicken strips even when they took 1 away!

Thanks so much guys. :) I appreciate it.

I personally liked the nuggets better than the strips. I had them for 4 lunches this past May and though they were very very yummy!!! My DS(age 2) and I would share the chicken nugget meal (I think they came with 8 nuggets) and it was more than enough for the 2 of us!!

I also noticed that my beloved Garden Galley Salad is no longer available at CHH. :sad1:

My DD15 had the chicken nuggets last week and she said they tasted just like the chicken fingers.

I usually get the chicken fingers but I didn't feel like eating deep fried anything that day so I tried the hummus sandwich (I think it's called the Lighthouse) and it was delicious. I loved the bread it was served on - multi grain I think. I highly recommend it for anyone wishing to eat a vegetarian meal.

I think they used to serve that hummus sandwhich at the Pinnochio Village Haus. I had it in 2004 and it was delicious. I was looking for it so I would know where to go on our up and coming trip! Funny how I can remember a great sandwhich at Disney from 5 years ago but I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday!!!:rotfl:

They are not the "formed" nuggets, just sort of like smaller chicken strips. Pretty good IMO.

Yes...to clarify...these are NOT McDonalds/Wendy's type nuggets...they are basically shrunken down chicken strips. It's real meat...just not the size of a strip. I thought they were quite good on our trip a couple weeks ago.

I liked them and ate them twice (once at CHH and once at Pinocchio's). They're not super-processed like McD's nuggets--they taste like real chicken!

Thanks for the clarification from both you and the previous poster. I was worried that they were the formed kind of nuggets. This is fine and probably a bit easier for the kids to eat.

Thanks!

The nuggets are exactly the same as the strips - just smaller pieces.

There are some reports that a few children's menus might serve processed nuggets (minced chicken formed into a nugget, not breast meat). Haven't heard this about CCH but at counter services you might want to scope out the kids' nuggets before ordering them.
