Has anybody eatern here, and if so whats it like?.

Rather than a rushed counter service we understand this gives the option of being able to sit down, and also offers veggie options. We didnt do this last time.

Anybody give a review on this?.

Columbia Harbour House is a counter-service restaurant just like the others in the parks. The difference is the theming. The tables are located in small rooms, rather than one big open space, making it seem much more peaceful and quiet. The food offering have always been good, IMO. They offer fried fish and chicken along with clam chowder in a bread bowl and chili (vegetarian chili I believe). We really like the atmosphere at the CHH.

The food here is good - they take the tours here for lunch because it is one of those overlooked places. A lot of guests don't know that there is an upstairs so that is usually quieter and you can people watch if you get a window seat. Out of all the counter service restaurants I've eaten at in MK this is certainly one of the quietest.

I've had the fish and chips(french fries) here and tasted the chowder which was really good.

I'm sorry I don't know much about the veggie options.

Colubia Harbor House, we think is a little gem. Went here on a very busy Labor Day weekend - went upstairs - while it was quite full downstairs, there was only ourselves and another family up there - a large fixings bar almost all to ourselves. I had the Chowder bread bowl - very nice and a change from the usual park fare. It was good sitting up there in the peace and quiet, looking down at the crowds below.

I ate there in March and thoroughly enjoyed it. I got there right at the end of lunch rush and got through the line in 5 minutes or less. I had the Chicken Salad and unsweetened tea, and it was delicious! I sat upstairs in the area overlooking the pathway between Liberty Square and Fantasyland, and had a great time people watching!

I like that the offerings here are different from those you find at some of the other counterservice restaurants in the parks. Also, the atmosphere is quieter and more relaxing.

I can't wait to go back!!!

This is on our list of places to eat during our trip in June. It will just be DH and I (for the first time ever) so we were looking for quieter counter service options with more "adult" food choices than what we usually have. This place sounds perfect for us!

We ate there on our last day when we went in March. It was very nice- we ate around 11:30 and the lunch rush hadn't hit yet. For our family of 4, we ordered two of the fish and chicken combos (one with fries, one with carrots--maybe that's the veggie option you were thinking of?), a clam chowder bread bowl, a side of coleslaw, two soft drinks and a milk. It was about $29. They did have a big salad of some sorts you could order- it looked good. It was very good food- hot & fresh, and although we didn't eat upstairs (we had a stroller), we were able to eat in a little corner and there was no one else around us til the end. We could watch the passer-byers in Liberty Square and see a little river action. It was nice- it is somewhere I would definitely eat at again.

We also really enjoy this place.Unfortunately last time we were there they had closed the upstairs for cleaning between regular lunch and dinner hours so we missed out on the great overlook, but the food was good and it was nice and peaceful. Even my picky dad liked it.

Columbia Harbor House is definitely a hidden gem in MK. The food is very good and reasonably priced, the atmosphere can't be beat for a relaxing meal in a cool environment and you have a fantastic view! We have been eating at CHH for years and yet we still never miss going here every trip, it's one of our MK traditions!

We have eaten here twice before and really enjoyed our meals. I had the ham sandwhich with slaw on it and it was really good. This is where you have lunch when you do The Keys to the Kingdom tour.

We eat at Columbia Harbour House at least twice a trip. It is a very nice restaurant with seating upstairs also. As for veggie options they have a vegetarian chili in a bread bowl or a hummus, broccoli slaw, & tomato sandwich on olive bread. The only time I've seen this place rushed was during a storm, when it seemed like everyone had the same idea to get out of the rain and eat. Usually though it is a very relaxed and calm place with pretty good food.

We loved this place, went here a couple of times last year. I had the Veggie Chilli bowl and DH had Clam Chowder. A great place, you will love it :D

The only bad meal I had at 10 days of Disney was here at CH...

The food was icky.... the place was packed (raining outside) the tables that were empty were filthy with spills, debris and crumbs... upstairs awas just as bad... the lines at the cashiers were ridiculous and the wait for our food excessive.. .this is the only place I can say I will never go back to... ever.

A really bad experience.

This was probably due to the fact that the weather turned bad, the place got packed, and there was no turnaround time between guests for the CM's to get everything cleaned up.

This is probably one of the only bad reviews I have ever read... perhaps you should give it another chance, under better circumstances.

The only MK counter service that we didn't care for. This was a couple of years ago. The bread bowl for the chili was really dried out. Didn't care for the fried fish--we have fish fries all over the place every Friday up here & any I have tried was better. We did get a table upstairs & that was very nice. I wouldn't say I'd never return, but I would try something different next time.

I'm a vegetarian and I went here with my vegan best friend. I had the Coral Reef sandwich (hummus and broccoli slaw) and helped my friend finish her vegetarian chili. Both were excellent and filling.

It was also refreshing for a fast-food place, as it had none of those dratted nasty "veggie" soy-based burgers that they try to make taste like meat. Yuck! I'd definitely return. It's close to Fantasyland but not nearly as packed as Fantasyland's eateries.

We've eaten there a number of times and enjoyed it like most of the others. One time we were eating dinner and had lost track of time and heard the fireworks. My kids and I ran out the front door and looked up and had a great view of them over our heads. :D

We ate there by happenstance because we were hungry and it just happened to be right there. We had the chicken/fish/fries and it wasn't bad. I was pleasantly surprised.

We also really like Casey's (hot dogs) on Main Street (but I don't know about veggie options there. I'm guessing there are no veggie options at a hot dog place.

This is one of my favorite places to eat at Magic Kingdom!! They have great salads and clam chowder served in a rye bread bowl. While this is counter service it is not your typical burger stand.

This will be my first stop at MK for upcoming trip!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
