On the menu it lists chicken breast nuggets, are those with a breading or without? Is there anything else on the menu that gets strong good reviews?

I'm trying to find some different options for lunch and or dinner, something new to us. Thank you! :thumbsup2

Mara

The nuggets have breading. They look like the normal frozen Disney chicken nugget.

We really like going to CHH for lunch while in the MK, and we always get the fried shrimp and fried fish. My dad really likes the tuna sandwich too!

the last time we went they were breaded they also offer fish which is nice, on of our favourites

Sigh, I was afraid of that. I've got some picky eaters and some allergy issues in the house. Me and my one son would do awesome, DH and other son not so much.

Thanks for the QUICK responses :goodvibes

I believe they have salmon if there's a problem with breading, but I know some picky eaters don't like salmon.

The tuna sandwich is really good. The shrimp is really good too. The hummus sandwich is not bad.

Here are a few photos of some meals:

:rolleyes1 yep you guessed it!

Take heart Mara. I've been married for 38 years to a spouse who won't eat anything that comes from water. No fish, seafood, NOTHING. She does like duck, but if it has fins or a shell she'll not eat it. Of course our twin DDs (now grown) are exactly the same way. The DDs have somehow also decided they don't like anything cooked/served with bones--this includes any kind of beef or chicken. :confused3 Sometimes I wish there was a spouse/food exchange on the Dis for folks who are foodies and the meat & potatoes crowd.;)

The tuna sandwich is awesome! I usually eat here at least once and I always think I should try something different but I always end up getting the tuna sandwich!

That bone comment just cracks me up. Yes that is an issue at our house, and now my DH has the kids not eating meat on a bone. They have seen me debone a chicken so they know is does come on a bone. Sigh...

Thankfully my older son is an adventurous eater and hasn't met any food he won't try at least once.

My house is so high maintenance that the fries and the yogurt wouldn't even work for my husband. He won't eat fries any more (weight reasons) and the yogurt won't be the "right" brand.

Thank you for the suggestion though. I normally just eat where he wants to or my youngest son can, but was hoping to find something different for my oldest and I.

I second (or is it third or fourth LOL) the vote for the tuna sandwich. It is made on this awesome whole grain bread with sunflower seeds. Even my DH who doesn't eat tuna liked it.

HTH ;)

:rotfl: You are a good wife and mother. Where do you guys normally eat? Since I enjoy CHH so much, I'd suggest sending DH and the youngest to Pecos Bill if they can eat there and I'd go to CHH with the oldest. They really aren't too far from each other.

Well before my husband lost all his weight, we would eat where ever there was a burger and fries;). But now we don't eat red meat, he does not eat anything from the water, and won't eat chicken with any type of breading if it's been fried. So Peco's Bill won't work.

When we went last year, we did eat at Cosmic Rays (he got the grilled chicken sandwich). My younger son has odd sensitivities, so any place we eat is essentially a mind field. The ts usually work out best, but I am limiting those to save on time and money (I have 5 booked for a 8 day stay).

Currently at the MK I have the Plaza booked.

My older son has a Gluten allergy, but seems to do okay with some gluten via food. But does horrible if it's in any hygiene products, go figure. So I don't really worry about his food.

We lunched at CHH last Saturday, to my initial reluctance: I hadn't visited the joint since it eliminated the clam chowder-laden bread bowls.

Well, it was a nice, healthy surprise. The clam chowder was much better than theme park fare. My friend ordered the fried fish with steamed broccoli.

Not an outstanding meal, but a decided break from burgers and fries.

Finally, I'd suggest eating upstairs.

I LOVE the hummus sandwich!!!

DH enjoys the Tuna and the Chowder.

I second this. My brother is allergic to fish, so he (and sometimes my husband) will go grab a burger at Pecos Bills or Pinocchio Haus and bring it in to CHH to join me and my mom (we both love CHH!) No one at CHH has ever had a problem with "outside" food being brought in.
