Speaking of seafood, I just had the best sample of crab spread at King Soopers. It is a jalapeno crab spread. Oh my gosh, that was the best stuff!

Ok, I got ya beat with the seafood and crabs.....but there's a LOT of great beer in CO. The only beer missing is Yuengling....a PA favorite!

Yeah, I've downed a few Yuenglings when I lived back east, but there are enough good beers out here that I don't miss it.

We're finishing up cleaning our apartment here, hit the road tomorrow, get our keys on Sat. and our truck arrives Monday morning. I'll be soooo glad when this is done.

Msslaydbug-what happened with the IPOD? I thought of you last night when I dunked my cell phone into my COKE!! (Don't ask how it happened, but I was sober at the time ) I don't know about surviving water, but my phone did not survive the soft drink. Luckily it was insured, but it is devastating.

Road trip!!!

We leave tomorrow late afternoon and will be in sunny Arizona for a week. First time driving this far with the kids (5 and 10), so I may return to the DIS next week with clumps of hair missing from my head. Luckily you all can't see me.

We are heading down to New Mexico to see our families- as brand new Aunt and Uncle, should we get anything for DNiece9's and DNephew5's Easter Baskets?

If it were me, I'd get them a little something. Nothing big, just some candy or a little stuffed bunny or something. Every year, my in-laws buy my dds those Hallmark bunnies that sing. (Though I think they might be chicks this year -- we'll see!) The girls enjoy them.

pilikia97 - Yes, if I were you I would get them something for their Easter Basket. I just found out that I will get to see my niece and nephew so I will get them something for Easter.

Wow, a few of you plan to do a road trip this weekend. I hope you have a safe drive. Have fun.

This weekend we will be helping my parents pack up for carpet and move some things around. And then we will be doing our wedding invitations, anyone want to help??!!!

Yes, well, at least i'm honest about my situation.

I do miss all the microbrews though. Luckily Yuengling is a domestic beer at Miller Lite or Coors Light prices. I like a good amber beer. One of my favorite things is sitting at the base lodge in Copper Mtn with a super cold beer. Beer is always colder in the mountains.

And oh boy, do I miss green chile. They have no idea what green chile is here. A breakfast burrito smothered with green chile sounds mighty good right now.

My toddler was over the moon about graham cracker sticks in plastic eggs. Wasn't candy, but that didn't matter to her. She thought those were awesome enough to look for... over... and over... and over... They also have graham cracker bees now.
