Color Wonder Cutter

Did anyone else get or have Santa bring Color Wonder Cutter?? My DD just turned 6 and has been asking for this for months. I couldnt find it anywhere! When she sat on Santa's lap and asked her what she wanted she told him this toy and he looked at me and said how cool it was and that it was hard to find. Anyway, Santa brought it...my moms friend found it for us. Well, I guess I just didnt realize how it worked. It is like a pen with a little blade at the end that shoots out! I should have looked at it more closely b/c my DD will for sure cut herself, or her clothes or innocently put paper on the table and cut w/o the tray underneath!!!!! Anyone else surprised??

My BIL who is a lawyer saw it and said he wouldnt be surprised if it was recalled. This clearly needs adult supervision at all times.

My brother bought it for my DD8..... so far she has been good with it. but I am still leary...she can't use it unless its at my kitchen table with an adult around.
