Color Pixter or Leapster?

We want to purchase one of these for our 4 and 6 year olds. Does anyone have any experience with either of these handheld games and do you recommend them?

I actually have the old Pixter(black and white) from last year and my 2 YO LOVES IT!!!! I actually bought both of them, the Leapster for my 5 YO and the Pixter for my 2YO. The Leapster seems to me to be more advanced then the Color Pixter, so if I had to buy one I would have bought the Color Pixter. Just a note, you can't find the cartridges for the Color Pixter almost anywhere, I ordered mine from fisherprice.com and they had almost all of them available.

I would love to hear any thoughts on the Leapster. I am thinking of getting it for my son who just turned 4. I have looked at it at TRU and just noticed that Target now has them. We did get him a Gameboy for his bday, he just kinda pushes the buttons but I think he would get a lot out of the Leapster. We bought him the Pixter (B & W) for Christmas last year and he only plays with it every now and then. Loves to draw on the screen though LOL!
