We've decided to spend a few days in Williamsburg, VA and then stay a week at Virginia Beach next June. Does anyone know any good places to stay in those areas? We are going to stay in Williamsburg five nights(Is that enough time there?). I would like to be close enough to the attractions that we don't spend tons of time comuting. Is parking a problem if you aren't close enough to walk?

We want to be on the beach (or very very close to it) for our week of relaxation!!!! My dream place would be a little quaint cottage that we could step right off of the screened porch and onto the sand!

We don't need total luxury. Mostly good location and not yucky!

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

I'd also love to know of any "can't miss" restaraunts or attractions. Our family is DH(33), ME(33), DD9, and DD4.

We are going to go to Busch gardens I think. My girls and I will be fascinated with Colonial Williamsburg and all of that history. DH just enjoys pretty much anything that we enjoy. I have thought about maybe surprising him with a golf day if I hear of any good courses. My DD9 golfs too, but we would probably just let daddy have a day off while we relax at the beach unless someone tells me of a good course for a kid and dad to do together.
