College Program Hotel Situation!!!

So I already posted this question under the college program questions thread but I don't know if everyone reads that one. Anyway, I will be starting my college program on the 11th of August and am flying down on the 10th. I am wondering if there is a relatively inexpensive hotel within walking distance of Vista Way? I really don't want to have to pay two cab fares when I may be able to just walk.

Or if there is anyone else who is flying in on the 10th that would be interested in meeting me at a certain hotel so we could share a cab fare, that would be really really super great!!!! Thanks in advance!!!

I'm pretty sure that there is a Days Inn right across the street from Vista Way but Im not 100% positive. I think its called the Days Inn Sunscape but i think there maybe a hotel that closer but im not sure its cheaper. But if you were planning on carrying all your stuff there from the hotel it might be a bit difficult. I hope this helps, i lived at Chatham but i remember the Days Inn being near Vista

Ellagirl: Thanks so much! I am checking into prices and mapquesting to see just how far this hotel really is. I am flying in so I wont have many belongings at all. It shouldn't be impractical for me to walk as long as its not far! Thanks again!!

The closest hotel to Vista Way is the Holiday Inn Sunspree, which is across SR 535 from the complex -- easily within walking distance. There are cheaper alternatives available (search for Lake Buena Vista on any hotel website) but this is the closest hotel available.
