College Planning Thread

I'm not sure what I want to major in yet. Possibly tech theater, elementary education, horticulture science, or tourism. It is my dream and goal to do DCP Fall Advantage 2016!:thumbsup2 Still debating which coast. I would like to do Attractions, Custodial, or Concierge. I would love to work at Indiana Jones Adventure or Tower of Terror  I am a theater person but I don't think I would like to do long spiels.

One college I was considering was the Disney Institute in Florida. It souns like any other college, but I'm kinda interested in it. It does occasional classes in WDW and Disneyland!

Another one I really wanna do is a performing arts school here in downtown Philly. It handles stuff like music and that I'd really love to do. :)

I have looked into colleges and decided on Southern Oregon University. It is in state so it is cheaper that way (planning on getting scholarships though). I want to be an elementary school teacher and SOU has a wonderful College of Education. The university is smaller, so smaller class sizes as well (which I am looking for). I will probably stay at home in Portland for the first year to get my Associates degree. Then move down to Ashland to attend the university. I will be majoring in Elementary Education. I will also be minoring in either Special Education or Psychology.

I've wanted to be an elementary school teacher for years now. So, I'd major in elementary education and I plan on minoring in special education. I have a few options for college already, so the next step is visiting them, then chosing one. :goodvibes
