College Move in Day!

Just dropped my only DD off for college. How exciting for her! I wish I were going! Now what do I do?

I will be dropping off my son next Saturday!!! He's very excited. I'll probably be a little bit sad.

My sister's moving in next Wednesday!! Though she'll only be 15 minutes from home, and she's going to the same college.

One of mine left yesterday and the other one left this morning.

I dropped my son off last Friday and came home and cleaned his room! Finally, I can see the floor!!

my oldest DD left for AZ on Wed! I wish I could get there to help her out moving in...my DH is going to help & get her a car next week...I still have 5 more at home to get ready for their first day soon! to all who are missing their kids!

My DS is leaving on Thursday.

My only child, DS, is leaving on Sunday.

He will 280 miles from home. It's going to be very lonely without him.

It is really bittersweet. We always talked about someday - someday you will go to college, someday you will live in a dorm - well, I turned around and someday is the day after tomorrow! It went fast.

UPDATE>>>She has already called 3 times! I had to help her install software and antivirus on her new computer that is BETTER THAN MINE!!!

This summer went by way too fast! It seems like we just picked up DS from college to come home for the summer and now it is almost time to drop him off again. He is a junior and I still miss him and cry when we leave him the first time. Luckily he is only 2 hours away. It does get easier as the year goes on. Good luck and pixie dust to all who are sending their kids to college.
