well i thought i would be done homework for the summer, but now im in a summer class "American Political Systems"...our assignment for our next class is to bring in an article from a newspaper or something online...
we are going over the constitution and how some events today could be considered unconstitutional....his example was an article about Oregon allowing pills to bring on death earlier..and if that was unconstitutional..so it was that the states had the right to decide if they would allow euthenasia

i was wondering if anyone had any ideas of topics or things that you know about that i could find an article about ? im just having a hard time trying to find something thanks

Have you considered GW's comments about amending the constitution to ban gay marriages? Many will agree that this would be an unconstitutional move. I'm sure you could find many articles on this topic.

i did that about that one, but we talked about it in class as well..so if i cant think of anything else, i will do that one,,just trying to get ideas...thanks

What about John Ashcroft's using the patriot act as an excuse to violate citizen's 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th ammendment rights?

Or the Recording Industry Association of America's use of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to violate the 4th ammendment rights?
