College Courses While in WDW college program

Can anyone tell me how difficult it is to attend the college accredited courses while also working during the college program at Disney?

Its not hard in the sense of getting all you're school work done in time while working 40+ hours a week. Its difficult in the sense of trying to justify spending your whole day inside in a classroom when you could be doing 100 million other things.

Its like getting a free trip to Hawaii for a timeshare presentation and spending 3 full days inside and not getting a chance to go to the beach once.

I took two classes for 4 weeks and finally realized that its not what i want to be doing on my day off. I dropped them, and wednesdays which was always my class day became my surf day with my roommate. We would go to the beach and surf every week on wednesday. I feel like i got a lot more out of my program without classes.

Although, the classes are quite interesting and i did get a decent amount of good information out of the couple weeks i went. If you do take classes i recommend Corporate Analysis. Its all about the Disney corporation.

What about taking online classes from my school?
My college is strict about graduation times, and I can take 12 credits of classes and remain a full time student, 6 through an internship, and the other 6 through online courses.
The internship credits just require a paper at the end of the semester, but what about the actual classes?
Would it be too much with work?

During my CP, I was enrolled in a 6 credit online internship class, as well as one of the collegiate courses Disney offers (Experiential Learning.) I originally was also in an online class for my current college at the time. I realized within 3 or 4 days of the college program that there was just NO way I'd be able to keep up with the workload. I worked 12-8 pretty much every day, and came home and immediately would fall asleep, and found it impossible to keep myself awake and get the work for that class done. My internship class was not at all an issue, it was pretty easy (writing papers about my experience, how my job will affect my career, etc.) The Disney course I took was 3 hours long, once a week, and although I much rather would have slept in on one of my days off, I really enjoyed it. I feel that I learned a lot, and although we had papers and homework to complete, it was all very beneficial to me, especially as a special education major.

How many classes all together?

technically 2, three credits each.
The other 6 credits is just a paper due at the end of the semester, no recurring assignments.

You should be okay. Like i said, if you're motivated to do the school work, go for it. If you're like me and you think you would blow it off just to have a little extra fun don't take classes. I definitely had time to do school work and i just didn't.
