Yep, I'm keeping with the future thread


I love to plan my life out (bad bad bad habbit) so I have my future planned already


I want to go to Boston College and major in sports journalism or marketing. I really love and know A LOT about sports so I could see myself in a sports realted career.


Is anyone else like me and know what they want to do someday and where they want to go to colege???????????????

Pediatric Oncology RN. DREAM school would be U of Penn at their nursing school, but I doubt that's going to happen. Otherwise, I'll go where I can afford.

I don't know what University I want to go to yet. Also unsure on whether I want to carry on with Geography, or take Zoology. I've checked around, and it's nearly impossible to do both together, because they almost always seem to be in different parts of the University -_-

I would like to work with animals, so Zoology would be better, but I Geography is my favourite lesson, and i'm interested in most geographical stuff.

So, I haven't made my mind up yet...

I'm really not sure exactly what I want to do in my future.
I havnt really thought of which college I want to go to, or what I want to be.
I'm thinking about Penn State, because I know they have a Paranormal Research thing (I know this from watching paranormal state xD) and I kinda want to be someone who researches paranormal stuff.

When I was younger I always wanted to do something with animals...
I wanted to be a zoologist, but that dream crashed and burned after a teacher told me I would have to go to normal med school (which she told me I would NOTbe able to do because of my fears of blood and vomit)

I guess I still kinda want to be a zoologist, but I dont think that will work out really well because my grades suck, and I probally couldnt get into a decent school. So I guess I want to be a Paranormal Researcher.

You're pretty much guaranteed a job with special education. They are badly needed.

I'm going to school for secondary education. I would want to teach social studies but now I find out social studies jobs are very limited for grades 7-12, which is what secondary is. I really only chose it because it was the only thing that appealed to me at the time. I'm trying to decide if I want to continue with this major. I would love to work with animals but I don't really have the science or math skills to pursue that. I guess I could always switch to special education but I don't have a passion for that and I don't know if I have the patience.

Well, I'm in my second year of uni right now. Double majoring in Theatre, Drama & Performance Studies & French Language-Teaching & Learning.
I never really had a dream university. I got to University of Toronto, which is a really good school though, so I'm happy.
I really wanted to do a theatre specialist program, but now I'm happy where I am because I can do both things that I love--theatre & french.

I have NO idea what I want to do after uni!! It scares me to think about.
I really want to act to be honest. I'm going to try it out and see how that goes. If it turns out it's not for me, I still have my bilingualism and french degree to get me pretty much any other job I might want/be qualified for (having french speaking skills is a REALLY good asset to have in Canada. )

Deff agreed on that. My mother works for RBC, and wants to switch to a branch.. she doesn't have her French so she has to look into communities that mostly don't speak French. Everywheres else, she's put at the bottom of the consideration list because of this.
Lately, I've been freaking out because I haven't been practicing my french. My reading and listening is realy good, I have awesome comprehension, but I don't speak it as often as I should, and I don't write as often as I should. I'm afraid to actually lose my french like all my teachers tell me we will if we don't practice.

Carleton College, Northfield, MN double major French and Francophone Studies and Cultural Anthropology and a minor in Archaeology and/or Education.

I'm ambitious. I know. I'll drive myself crazy with a double major and a double minor. I don't even know if they'll let me do that!

Short of Carleton, I've applied to the University of Oregon, the University of New Hampshire, and Princeton University.

I'm in at UO and UNH. Princeton doesn't announce acceptance/declination until the 31st of March. Carleton doesn't announce until the 1st of April, so *fingers crossed*.

After college, I want to teach French at a high school level and eventually go back to school and get my Master's and after that, my PhD.

I honestly have no idea.

I've pretty much narrowed it down to Political Journalism, because I want to be involved in the White House. (I want to be President too, but I disgress.)

However, I also want to be a Researcher/Creative Ideas Imagineer. D; My sights are quite broad.

(I also dream of being on Broadway, but with this economy I don't think it would be a good idea.)

Unfortunately for me I'm heading into the arts, which isn't such a good idea with the lack of solid jobs anyways in that career and what I'm up against in the future. But honestly I would never be able to live with myself if I took up something else just to have a solid job and hate it.

So I'm going into journalism, creative writing, photography, dance, acting, and English, English Literature, etc.. But most likely journalism and creative writing.

I haven't decided where I want to go to college.

i want to go to the Whitehouse Institute of Design (its a really good design school in sydney) and then get a scholarship to study in rome. i want my own fashion label that competes with Chanel and Dior and all those labels.
i can't afford to go to whitehouse though.

also i think i would like to get a recording contract, but im not likely to do anything about that dream lol

I want to major in forensics and minor in psychology or anthropology.

If I don't major in forensics, I want to major in medicine.

Well I can't decide what I want my major to be. I eventually want to open up my own gym but I don't know if I want to major in Business and be bored or major in Personal Training which is more interesting. I also don't know whether I should go to a school in-state for cheaper or go to a school in Florida where I really want to go but be in debt my entire life.

I don't mean to be a pain in the butt but I checked out BC when I was looking for journalism schools and they don't have a journalism major technically. It's actually a communication major with a journalism concentration. Just some food for thought.


Anyway, I'm off to college next year!! Actually, I got into American University today! I'm also in Penn State-Main Campus, Ursinus College, Moravian College, and Susquehanna University and I'm still waiting to hear from Boston University, Cornell University, Emerson College, and Syracuse University.

Where I go depends on what I'm going to major in but it will be either Broadcast, Newspaper, Magazine, or Communication and Political Science with a Dance or Theater minor. Eek!

After college, I'm going to law school because I want to be a corporate lawyer.
