Collecting Park Tickets?

Hi

I ordered our park tickets online from the Walt Disney Travel Company UK, and understand that we have to present the email at one of the four main parks or at the Travel exchange place at Magic Kingdom - (sorry can't think what it's really called) in exchange for our tickets.

My problem is that we will arrive at POFQ late afternoon (assuming we are on time), and we had planned to go to Typhoon Lagoon the following day, as a 'rest' day before hitting main parks.

What will be the easiest way to collect our tickets? Keeping in mind that one of us is on a mobility scooter, and we won't have a car and will be using Disney transport. Should we all get on a bus to one of the parks to collect the tickets before heading to TL, or do you think I should go alone the evening we arrive? Also am I right in thinking that Epcot is the closest park to POFQ, so should we/I head there? Help please

you can get them added to your room key at POFQ.

Can you not pick them up at DTD? In which case you could catch the boat there. Great hotel, we loved it and everything seemed really close by.
When we stayed there we had them added to our room key.

Thank you wideeyes - are you absolutely sure. It does say on the email that they must be changed at one of the four main parks, but would be so much easier if what you say is correct?

Yes you can - I exchanged them at POP when we checked in although we had two "keys to the world cards" one for the room and one for tickets for some reasons . But you can do them when you check in, not sure why they dont advertise it!
