Collapsible hamper?

I got mine at the supermarket, down the aisle with the laundry supplies. It was a very heavy duty navy blue mesh, with a solid bottom, handles, and oval wires that you twist to fold into the pouch on the side to collapse. It folds to about 8" x 8" x 1". Popped open it is about 22" high and 14" across all four sides. At first, I trouble folding it; it would pop open, but I finally got the hang of it! I take it with me whenever I travel. It is good for carrying beach supplies, or gathering laundry, and it takes almost no space in your suitcase. I think you could probably get it at Linens and Things, or Bed, Bath and Beyond. I have had mine for two years and it is still in good condition.

I got mine at Walmart in the isle with the irons, ironing boards, etc. It came in really handy. All dirty clothes went in, went to the laundry, it carried the clean clothes back. Very handy!

Hi Nickymouse:wave2:
They also carry the colapsable laundry units at all department stores I have frequented.::yes:: So I guess it would be a matter of how much you want to pay for one..

I got mine thru the LTD Commodities Co. Got 3 of them for $6.95 plus shipping. I love these things. My daughter uses them at college for her laundry - easier than carrying a clothes basket.
It is nice when traveling not to have dirty clothes laying in a heap in a corner, and when it's time to do laundry it is so easy to pick up and carry with you.

Our travel laundry basket is a 30 gallon Glad trash bag!!!!

As a mother of twin, gross boys (amazing how gross they can be even when there is no dirt on the ship), there are two advantages to the mesh, freestanding hamper (compared to the trash bag)-
looks like a hoop for aiming purposes
breathes so smelly gross clothes don't get worse

I've seen them much cheaper than the $7 or so I paid, just keep looking

Got mine at "Family Dollar" for $5.00::yes:: I loved it for all the above reasons. Also it fits nicely under the sink in the shower side of the split bath.

we just bring a large, empty duffle bag and throw all the dirty laundry in there and just check in as luggage on the way home.

I actually have a friend who found his at the dollar store. I have seen them at places like Dollar Tree, etc. for that $1 price. Buy a couple of them at that price and pre-sort (am I anal or what? - DW loves that about me)!

I have a black one and a white one so I can sort too - use them for camping. Got mine at Linens and Things.

Here's what they look like...

I got mine at wal-mart. Look for the combo pack that has a hamper and a laundry basket, its a better deal.

I use them in my DD bedroom to contain
her ever growing stuffed animal collection!
