I went to work today with the sniffles. The more I sat at my desk, the more my nose got stuffed and I sounded worse then I was actually feeling. My boss said I didn't look good and I told him I wasn't feeling 100% but was ok. He asked if I wanted to go home and I said I was fine to stay and had things I wanted to get done. He then told me to go home mid day so I wouldn't get anyone else sick. So I did but felt very guilty for leaving.

Anyway, apparently he is not feeling well now either and it's all my fault. He told me that going to work shouldn't be an ego thing and I have to be considerate about everyone in the office. He didn't sound very happy with me when I spoke to him tonight. He had to cancel some important meetings tomorrow b/c he wasn't feeling well. So now I feel really bad. The funny thing is the other person we work with was sick last week and I probably got it from him and even said before I left that I caught his "kooties" (spelt wrong) but they ignored that and now I'm the culprit for getting my boss sick. :crazy2:

Can you catch a cold from someone that quickly? I'd think it would at least take 3 days.

This all happened today? If so, there's no way you could have made him sick in a matter of hours - the incubation period for a cold virus is longer than that! I bet he caught it from the same person at work who gave it to you, since you both came down with it around the same time.

That was my first thought :scratchin
