I leave for WDW in nine days. My cubicle mate at work started sneezing and sniffling yesterday so I asked her to please use a sick day if she's sick so others won't catch her cold (she NEVER uses sick days when she's sick). The co-worker on the other side of her has an infant and is worried about all the times this co-worker shares her germs with us. Ugh, we get 20 sick days each year....USE ONE already!!!!!!!

Ok, rant over. What can I start taking NOW to avoid catching this woman's cold? She sits less than two feet from me (literallly face to face) and she's sneezing, coughing, shivering, blowing her nose, etc..... HELP!! I can't get sick right now!

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Can't anyone help me? Pretty Please......

Jim swears by Zycam. I hate nose sprays and have never used it.

I WOULD start drinking lots of orange juice or anything with Vitamin C or taking Vitamin C.

I personally swear by two things: Echinacea for long-term prevention, and mega-doses of C. I take C every day (500 MG) and will double that if I feel like I'm getting sick or I'm haning around people who don't understand I don't want their cold!

YAY...I KNEW I could count on DISers to get me to WDW healthy!!

I'm off to the pharmacy....THANKS friends!! ;)

I swear by Zicam as well. And WASH YOUR HANDS a lot.

Good luck! :)

Some may say "hogwash", but 1,000 mg of Ester C kept me well last winter. Ester C is just vitamin C with no acid. Easier on the stomach.:D
