Does cold or cool damp weather make your throat hurt? Lately I have noticed that when it is cool and damp my throat starts hurting. It hurts to swallow and there is constant pain in some area of my throat. Luckily it doesn't get too bad and is all better in a day or two after the weather changes again. This has only started happening this year. I wonder if I keep staying on the verge of getting a real sore throat or if it is something else?

The weather tomorrow is supposed to be worse so I hope it doesn't make me feel any worse since I have to work tomorrow night.

Someone tell me that I am not the only one this happens to.

That happens to me when I am getting an upper respitory infecton! It starts with the sore throat, hurting to swallow, not wanting to drink anything cold or hot, just warm.

Once I get this, I'm usually calling the doctor, cause I know whats coming next for me.
Good luck~hope you feel better!
