Coin Jar Pay Off

Hubby made me what we call Mouse House. It is a 4 ft 6 inches in diameter piece of PVC pie with a cap glued on. I decorated it with color sheets the son colored and it stands in our computer room just waiting for change. Hopefully it will have lots of change in it before our Christmas trip.

That is very inspiring! I too have starting saving my change to put towards our 2006 vacation. (Just started about a month ago, so it wont help for our Honeymoon trip this May but I should have a good amount by next year!!) :flower:

DH and I save ALL of our change. We never hand a coin to a cashier. If it comes to $10.01 and all I have is the correct change or $20 bill...she gets the $20 and 99¢ goes in our coin jar. We have an old Nescafe jar that holds almost exactly $10 when it's full. We have one of those tube banks for quarters - and all of our dimes and nickels go into a large water dispensing jug. The most we ever cashed in for one trip was just over $1000. A fun and painless way to save.
