Coffeemakers at AKL?

I have read a couple of different places that in-room coffeemakers are NOT an option at AKL. This makes me very unhappy, but I wanted to see if anyone else had requested a coffeemaker recently. Perhaps this was a policy at one time but no longer??

Also, my reservation confirmation for AKL indicates "refrigerator" -- is that actually an option (savannah view room) and if so, will we be charged extra?

Just returned from the AKL and can tell you that coffee makers and refrigerators are available at all locations........
Coffee makers....free...call housekeeping and request one....
Refrigerators....available for $10 per day plus tax..........

Get a cooler add ice from the hotel ice machine to save a bit of $$$

As I said, this is something that I have read more than one place. Go figure! I did not ask for the refrigerator and really don't think that we would use, particularly for an additional charge. Does the coffeemaker come with any coffee, filters, etc.?

Not only need to know if coffeemaker will come with any supplies, but what size/type filters do I need? Thanks!!

THe coffee maker was delivered with one days supply. They sell coffee to brew in Mara (and probably in the Zawadi Marketplace - but I didn't make a note of it.) They are small cofee makers - maybe 4 cups.
