Coffeemaker question

I'm full of strange, obscure questions this morning.
We'll be at AKL and have requested a coffeemaker for the room. I'd like to bring down my own coffee and was wondering if the coffeemakers use the prefilled pouches of coffee or if I can bring down filters (what size?) and loose coffee grounds...

I'm already starting to make my "must bring with" list...

When we were there in April, we brought our own coffee and filters. The coffeemakers take the flat bottom filters, not the cone shapped ones. They are small 4 cup coffeemakers. Having our own coffee in the morning was great.

That was precisely the answer I was looking for.

My DD is diabetic and we really just plan to have breakfast in the room while admiring the animals from our balcony. (It's just easier that way for us).

Armed with a good cup of coffee, I'll be ready for the day ahead!
