Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but I just called the front desk and they couldnt give me an answer. We are in a studio and have a 12-cup coffeemaker. The packet of coffee is a pre-measured filter pack and there is only one. (Well 2 but the other is decaf.)
What is the typical amount of water to add? Instructions on the coffee just say adjust water amount to taste but I dont want to mess it up. They will deliver more but we just arrived and want to head to Epcot for EMH instead of waiting around for coffee delivery. We're only here one night then heading to port in am.
Any tips? Experience?
Thanks!!!!

A long time ago we used to use Maxwell House filter Paks and used 2 to make a 12 cup pot. But my husband and I like strong coffee.

It is a weak coffee pack! I'd go with ~6 cups of water, maybe less.

I realize this is ancient history now, but my rule of thumb is err on the side of making it too strong. If it comes out too stout, you can always add water & nuke it for a minute.

I agree with this. I often pour a small bit to see the strength and then just add more water to the coffee pot to get to the potion I want.

That said, I rarely use the Disney coffee and usually use my own. But for one night I'd probably just look for decent coffee the next morning although I don't like to leave the room without my first cup!

This drives me crazy OP! I never understood why those packets don't indicate the number of cups. We usually do our own coffee too but in a pinch it would be nice to know :)
