So, we're leaving on the Fantasy next weekend and my husband LOVES coffee. Is there anything special for coffee lovers on the ship besides specialty coffees at Cove Cafe? On that note...I'm assuming the coffee at Cove is not included, just like the drinks in the bar. Am I correct on that assumption?
Thanks

You are correct that you pay for all coffee drinks at Cove Cafe.
The free coffee is help yourself near the soda machines.

If you are looking for other coffee type drinks, many of the bars (also Cove Cafe) has an Espresso Martini. I believe the Godiva martini also contained coffee.

You can order the specialty coffees in the MDR's as well, but at a cost. I had a cappuccino with dessert one night...partly just to see the Mickey on top!, I think it was around $3 for the charge.

I made several mochas a day by combining the powder hot chocolate packets with milk and coffee from the fountain drink station. They were quite good, available 24/7 and free!

I always do stuff like this but haven't on board, great idea!

You can also get coffee from room service for free, Just don't forget to tip, I have read that this coffee is better than the coffee at the drink station. *****I'm not a coffee drinker.

I am not a fan of Disney's coffee, not in the dining room or in the Cove Cafe. I drink Americano's, not fancy drinks. I bring a simple pour over set up and order hot water from room service. I bring the coffee, filters, pour over and sandwich bags to dispose of the grounds. My spouse has brought an aero press on some cruises. It is a little thing that makes my day much more enjoyable!

If your husband loves coffee, he should stick to Cove Cafe. I think they do a decent espresso as I usually find Illy beans quite pleasant.

The cold brew was pretty good too.

I would steer clear of ordering a latte or anything like that in the mdr. Those coffee drinks are from a push a button type machine.

My husband won't drink the coffee station offering, he can't its awful.
He always goes to Cove Cafe in the morning for a cup. The good news for him is I drink tea, so I get mine free all week.
I agree if he can he should stick with Cove Cafe.

You could get lucky like I did few years ago on my WBTA Disney Cruise my table mate was a coffee salesman and he brought all sorts of instant coffee packages (just add hot water) and would hand them out at our table in the MDR. The instant coffee he handed out was better than the coffee in the MDR but not better than Cove Café. At our last meal in the MDR he gave me a big ziplock bag with all sorts of coffee samples. All this being said if your husband likes those instant coffees you might want to consider bring a few just in case.
