Living here on the East Coast I took it for granted that there's a DUNKIN DONUTS all over the nation. Until I took my first trip to Pennsylvania... We only found TWO during the week we were there. Please tell me that there are Dunkin Donuts places somewhere near Disney World!!! :scared:

I too am a Dunkin Donuts addict, living here in NY's Upper East Side. Unfortuantley, there are no Dunkin Donuts kiosks or whatnot anywhere on WDW's grounds. I can't really answer for the Orlando area in general.

We don't have a Dunkin Donut here either. Sounds like I'm missin out! :)

There is a GOD!!! Thank you so much for this info!!!! I really didn't want to have to pack my dunkin donuts coffee!!! LOL!!!

LOL I don't like the kind you can buy at the store. Too me it doesn't taste the same...

Lol but then again I only drink their Blueberry Iced Coffee and Chai

I am actually packing a bag of Dunkin Donuts coffee with me along with a french press for my hotel room at the Wilderness Lodge. The coffee that WDW uses, Nescafe, is downright horrendous. I guess they are forced into it since WDW has that exclusivity deal with Coca Cola to only use their beverage products.

There is one just outside of the DTD hotel area. We stop there and buy donuts and bagels to keep in the room as our breakfast.

My DW makes me take her there to go to Baskin Robins

We packed a bag of coffee in our checked luggage. When we got there, our luggage lock had been cut off and our bag searched. My DH said it was probably the coffee that triggered the search. But, we also had a jar of peanut butter and a few other snack items in the bag. So, who knows. Nothing was messed up. We just lost our really nice luggage lock. Just don't put a lock on your bag.

Not sure if you can put coffee in your carryon or not. Call the airline. Enjoy your coffee - I like the french press idea!

Nescafe is a Nestle product, not Coca-Cola, but IIRC, Nestle is the one with the sponsorship deal for The Land pavilion at Epcot. The Nescafe likely comes out of that (much as all service vehicles at Disney are GM products, as per the Test Track sponsorship).

I am in PA (about 60 miles North of Philly) and I can count 5 DD's within five miles of my house.

Here is a list to 19 DD's that are within 10 miles of Lake Buena Vista

In general I think DW has horrible coffee offerings! It was the only thing I really had a problem with last year on my DW honeymoon. The last time I had been (~2004 or so), I wasn't a huge coffee drinker, but I am now addicted to my one cup a day (mostly to Starbucks or any dark coffee/espresso). Needless to say there is no Starbucks and the only potential source of espresso was at the Polynesian coffee shop, which I unfortunately found out closes early (around noon?). :headache:

Does anyone know of any other coffee shops selling quality coffee (i.e. not Nescafe) on the Disney property? Someplace with espresso/capuccino or dark roast coffee? How about at Pop Century (where I'm staying in a month)?

Thanks!

Try the Poly. They have REAL Kona coffee upstairs at Kona Cafe and their donut shop. Everywhere else has that nasty nescafe...

THey actually have good capuccinos at the Pepper Market at the CSR. Also the ones at the little coffee kiosk near Universe of Energy at Epcot is good as is Starring Rolls at the Studios. This is where I get my fix until about midway during our trip and my DH finally relents and drives me to get my Starbucks fix.

There is also a really nice coffee and pastry place at the Animal Kingdom just outside the ticket gates.

THANKS for the tips!! I should have known about CSR...it's the convention hotel so of course they have better coffee! :)

There are some places to get good coffee (i.e., NOT Nescafe) at WDW, but you have to go looking for it. A good list is HERE

My personal favorite is the cart by Test Track in EP.

I was going to say the same thing. I literally have 6 within a 1/2 mile radius of here. :rotfl2:
I was thinking that too, I dont think I can drive a few miles in NJ/PA area nd not see Dunkin donuts- now with drive thru!

The worst part of Disney coffee was staying in a value resort- they convinced me to buy a plastic mug so I had that horrendous coffee in a plastic mug, and sipped it thru a sippy/straw hole! UGH crappy nes'cafe and plastic, thats a way to make my day magical. Never again!
