When we cruised in December they were working on the coffee shop in the port. The Disney CM said it would be open soon. Is it open yet? It is near the new kid registering area. I would have loved to have a drink while waiting to board. There is nothing there, not even a drink machine after you get in the port. And of course, you can't leave and go through all of that security again, too much trouble. Just planning for next week's cruise. Thanks -

Good question. It was apparently there a year ago when we cruised but I never saw it. And SOMEONE posted several weeks ago that they took it out......anyway have any recent information?

Tell me more...

I was under the impression that the Port was a fun place to hang out and had a coffee shop and snack bar.

Would someone pls clarify?

They used to have a coffee shop where you could get coffee, drinks, bagels, danish, etc. We'd go early and eat a snack in line waiting to board.

Now it's closed and it's the kid's club registration area....which has TOO long of a line and moves too slow....easier, IMHO, to do it while onboard.

So no coffee. :(

We were told in early January when we sailed on the Wonder that the coffee area was going to open again, but it was damaged by the hurricanes and part of it is indeed being used for kids club registration....

The counter and coffee machines were still there but the chairs were moved out of that area and desks were in place for the registration process.....

So, I guess if the kids club registration experiment does not pan out they will reopen the coffee shop????
