We've booked a Lagoon View for July. I got to thinking - what size coffee pots do they have? I know you have to ask ...

Also - would it make sense for me just to bring my little 4 cup pot? I guess I'm afraid they'll run out of coffee pots

One other coffee question - do any of the shops there sell ground Kona coffee - hawaiian coffee that is? When I was in Hawaii I bought the BEST ground coffee to use in my room.

Thanks Guys!!

Can't help about the coffee pots as we've never requested one but they do sell Kona coffee upstairs in the Grand Ceremonial House. There's a coffee bar next to the monorail doors where you can buy it prepared or by the pound.

Thanks! Actually I think I'm going to get my own little press pot and bring an electric kettle - that way I can do my own coffee in the morning!

I appreciate the info!

FYI, the packages of Kona they sell for take home are 12 ounces. I thought I was buying one-pound packages! I spent $80 total for two packages of Kona blend and one of pure Kona. Yes, for us it was worth it. We've rationed it since we got home last October and just finished the last of it a couple of weeks ago.

The 100% Kona Press Pot you get at Kona Cafe is around $7.99 and a bargain--Hubby and I each got two cups out of one press pot. We had breakfast there every morning of our stay.

Enjoy!!
