coffee pot at the Poly

Does anyone use the coffee pot at the resort? Do you clean it before you use it?

I use it for hot tea. The glass carafe has always been clean. My tea has neither the odor or taste of coffee so I feel confident that they're attentive to cleaning.

I do remove the plastic coffee filter part to eliminate any chance of a coffee taste. not so easy to get that residue out of plastic.

I actually bring my own coffee pot. I have on occasion had to use theirs if i already packed mine the night before. The pot has always apeared very clean, but i quick wash and wipe down never hurts

I always use the Poly coffee pots, and have never had anything other than a decent, welcome cup of coffee in a clean pot.

I've always cleaned the pot before first use because I'm just strange like that. It didn't look 'dirty 'at all but it's just force of habit for me. We used ours mostly to make tea as we like getting 100% Kona coffee from the Kona Island coffe bar in the GCH.

Thank you so much! I'm going to take the plunge and try making my coffee in their coffee pot. What will not kill me will make me stronger.
