Go to dollar store and buy the permanent Mr. Coffee type basket for filters. I take these to all DVC resorts, including Aulani.

I'm considering just taking some instant coffee packets or freeze-dried instant coffee on our next trip and forget about the coffee pot. I'm the only one who drinks it and a coffee maker is too much for me at one time. There are some good instant coffee alternatives out there these days.
