Coffee Makers

Sorry, I'm sure this question has been asked before but when I tried to do a "search" the message said the system was down.

Do they have coffee makers at the All Star Music resort? If no, can you request one from house keeping?

This is a good question as I was wondering the same. We are staying at Music and I know my hubby will not like Nescafe coffee---he says he's bringing his own, I would rather not have to travel on plane with COffee maker. Any one else have any suggestions or know answer to this. Thanks

There are no coffee makers at any of the AS resorts. You may however, request one from housekeeping.

No there are not coffee makers in the rooms at AS's. I did ask if I could request one on our last trip in Dec. I was told they are not avalible for request.
I would suggest that you buy a refillable mug and ask to be close to the food court. Then you can just walk down and fill it up. This is what we did last year.

Guess I will find another option, as I know my hubby will not drink that Nescafee stuff. Then I will have an even more grumpy hubby cuz he does not want to go to WDW in 1st place and no real coffee will set him off. Maybe I can purchase those individual packets and put hot water in mug. ANyone else try this or have suggestions on what else to do. We are in Calypso bldg, so close to food court from what people say. Thanks again.

When my daughter went to college this September, I purchased a one cup coffee maker at Walmart for her. I believe it is by Black and Decker and the coffee is deposited right into a travel mug. It is quite compact.Maybe this and serving hubby coffee in bed will get him to like WDW a little better! Joan

just purchase a small travel size perkalator(i think thats how you spell it) and you can just throw it in your suitcase and not have to worry about it getting broke. when we stayed at the as resorts, thats what i use to bring, it was great for heating water up for tea, oatmeal, or anything else that you would need hot water for, and of coarse making your own conveint brand coffee. and dont forget to bring the coffee! now we stay at the dvc resorts and they have coffee makers, refri, and microwave, its great. good luck!

Our Walmart has a 4 cup coffee maker for $9.94. I buy the maxwell house filter pakets and pack the sugar and creamer. I got the coffee in the tea bag things to go on a trip once and DH didn't seem to like them but he didn't complain. He just didn't drink his usual 2 cups before we went out in the AM. I asked him what he didn't like and he said it was not stong enough. Maybe you can use 2 bags for one cup if your hubby likes stronger coffee. The coffee pot at Walmart is the same type they have at the other resorts. It is small and travels easily.
