Does anyone know if there are coffee makers in the rooms at the Grand Californian?

Is that one of those "1" cup makers? No offence, but what good is 1 cup of coffee? :surfweb:

I agree. I did not ask for it, it was there. I will take a Mr. Coffee with 10 cups of black coffee. I have never bought a cup of coffee in an eating place. I let them know up from I am going to order a meal and spend money there, I want a cup of coffee n/c. Most of the time there is not a problem. No coffee, no eat there. Coffee and most other drinks are a rip. I do not like water, but drink it, pop is badddddddddddd for you. I live with it.

I have 3 Keurigs.....one single cup upstairs on my wet bar, a larger model downstairs in the kitchen, and another single cup at work! Coffee is too important to not have each cup be fresh and hot!
So to each their own ;), but united in the love of coffee.

Love mine:love: Do they have these at DLH if you request a coffeemaker?

I love my Keurig! Nothing like a fresh cup of coffee in 30 seconds.

:thumbsup2 I feel the same way you do. I want the whole pot and to brew my own!:cool1:

I would need a very large mug to drink a whole pot at once:lmao: Ok, I know what you mean. I only drink one or two( on a rare day) cups in the morning so the Kuerig is great.

So I know they have them at the GC, but do they have them at the DLH or just the regular drip coffee makers. Also is there a charge for the pods everyday?

Not really since most of the hotels have small 4 cup coffemakers. 2 cups equal to about one Tall coffee at Starbucks. :) When I'm in need of a java jolt, 4 cups is not even enough!;)

It used to be (last year) that they had them at DLH but you sometimes had to ask if you wanted one in your room. No problem; just call housekeeping. I don't know about the Keurig kind, as when I was there they still had the small-sized regular drip pots.

I didn't actually use it because they had nice fresh hot coffee in the lobby of each tower and they had real cream + to-go cups.

I'm not sure whether or not they do this at GCH. Both times I was there recently we stayed concierge :thumbsup2
