Coffee maker swap at POP

Thank you everyone for thinking about me for the coffee, but it's okay....I will just live with the muck (I mean coffee) in POP.
I feel so bad for all the upcoming people. I talked to the family that went before it got lost and they had it BUT handed it in to luggage and not to the front desk where it was supose to go. In other words he didn't have the info programed in the system for the next family.
Because if he would of done this....POP would of gave him a claim number to go back on; and he said that he doesn't have one. So basically since he didn't bring it back to the right place he screwed it up. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Yes I'm ticked off, but oh well. It sucks that these upcoming families have nothing now and all this work of organizing just went down the drain. It's a pain at time that people join, the quit, then rejoin, but I don't complain I just take it as it goes and try to be a happy (okay somewhat happy) DIS board user and try and make others happy.

Anyways....as it goes right now...the swap is done. It's out of my hands. I will try calling POP a few more times and see if they have found it. If not there is nothing I can do. Again I'm SO SORRY.

wdw-1sttimers, I'm so sorry about all your hard work! Don't worry about us--we'll find coffee. Where there's a caffeine addiction, there's a way! Actually I'm kind of partial to General Food Int'l Coffee right now--the Italian flavor is very good!

Hey, I have offered to bring down my extra coffee maker...even PM'd WDW1sttimer and no one has taken me up on my offer to continue the swap (which would include WDW 1st as she is after me). So the swap isn't dead if someone would just get hold of me and say they are or aren't interested. I brining it for myself anyway since this one is gone.....so I have no prob leaving it !

I just need confirmation that it is wanted.

just wanted to give you guys an idea...I had tried to get in on this swap when it first started, but my dates were taken already. So instead I decided to buy a small coffeemaker at CVS for $10 and bring it with me to Pop. It brews right into a thermal travel mug (I didn't want to worry about the glass carafe breaking in transit) and it doesn't take up much room in the luggage.

I thought it would be a good option for you guys now that this coffee maker has been lost. If you have a CVS near you, take a look....might just be worth buying your own coffee maker for only $10 and then you'll have it for future trips.

Now that I have figured out what has been going on I realized that the last pot was lost. I have purchased a new coffee pot to take with me NEXT WEEK (7/15-7/23.) I would really like to pass it on to the next person in the swap if everyone else is willing to continue as before. What do you all think???

okay everyone...I took some time to think about all the time and effort I had put into and really wasn't sure if I wanted the headaches again organizing the swap...anyways...I will keep it going for no one is high and dry at all. But this is to be noted to all.............PLEASE BE NICE....WE ALL LENT YOU THE COFFEE POT, SO ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS BRING IT TO THE DESK AT POP AND MAKE SURE YOU GET A CLAIM NUMBER FOR WHEN YOU HAND IT IN. That's all I ask of people for the pot doesn't get lost. It's not fair to everyone else when the pot goes home with you cause you like it, or you don't follow the rules on how to swap. If anyone has any questions please PM me or just ask on the board. If I don't answer it, I'm sure someone will.

BTW-I'm have two bad ear infections and running a fever so if I don't get back to you guys with in the next day or two you know why. I promise that I will get everything up and going by the weekend.

I am on the list for 8/25-9/2....I got upgraded to OKW, so don't
need the coffeepot, BUT will be absolutely willing to get the coffeepot
and leave for the next person on 8/25...(we have a 1 night only ressie
at Pop on 8/25) Had planned on leaving Lannah some Starbucks coffee
for her efforts!!!

Please let me know if you still want me to get the coffeepot and leave
for the next person or if someone else wants my dates that's fine also!!

MGV (Marissa) e-mailed me about handing off the new coffee pot to me....I told her I was interested but.....that I thought that the Gap between our stays was way too big and that POP would probably NOT keep it that long? Anyway, I told her that I think the only way we can keep the pot going if she would maybe mail it to me? I PM'd her today and asked her what she wanted to do...I'll keep you guys posted.

Well it looks like the swap may be on again....geez, I had the easy part...all I did was buy the pot and start it!! Well at least it was used for abt 4 mths or so ??
Lannah, hope you are feeling better..there is nothing worse than an ear infection..(duh you are saying).....it jsut affects everything physical! UGH...
Kudos to you for actually continueing on......I am sure someone else may have stepped up to the plate if you have had enough
