Please help -- I'm a tea drinker in the morning but we are travelling to HHI with my parents who are coffee drinkers and I can't recall what the coffee makers in the villas are like ? :confused3
THANKS!

The Villia's had 12 cup white Mr. Coffee makers. The one bedroom villia's came with two filter packs to make two pots, powered coffee mate, surgar and splenda. I doubt anything changed, have a great trip

Is there a place to buy a cup of coffee on site? And if so, is it any good? Thanks!

I have been wndering this, too. I have an upcoming split trip: studio stays at BWV and SSR. I'd love to know what size filters to bring! Thanks in advance!!:)

Standard flat bottom filters, there 12 cup coffee makers. They sell coffee in the the gift shop (Maxwell House) or grab one of the maids I'm sure they'd help you out, or the desk perhaps with a fee. It came with two pots worth.

If you aren't sure you'll like the coffee they provide, bring your own! :drinking1 (please don't gulp your coffee like this; it'll burn you!!) Or bring some Starbucks VIA. Also, I'd recommend making your coffee w/ bottled water. I don't know how the water at HHI is, but it's bound to be different from your water at home, and that has a profound affect on your coffee's flavor.

No. There is no good coffee at WDW. Seriously. Can you say, "Nescafe?" Kinda make syou want to throw up a little in your mouth, doesn't it? :rotfl2: If I wanted chocolate, I'd go to Godiva at DTD. :confused3

We were at OKW recently and I brought my own coffee. Just before we left home, I ground my normal coffee beans and filled individual small freezer bags with one pot's worth (for 12 cups) each. I only brought a few day's worth but we ended up having more breakfasts in the room so needed to use what was provided. I was surprised that the coffee provided for the coffee maker wasn't that bad. PP just said it's Maxwell House? Definitely was better than the coffee at Olivia's. Breakfast there was great but that coffee was bad

HI there

My DH & I are also Coffee freaks, and are staying at BLT......so we'll definitely bring our own coffee from here at home.

Do you think the coffee shop at the contemporary will grind our beans or do we have to pre-grind before we leave home????

I just dont understand why Disney can do everything so brilliantly EXCEPT coffee....seriously the coffee in the parks is beyond horrible.Just as well we travel when its hot, so we can survive on maybe 3-4 a day.....coffee addiction in action.

I always bring my own coffee. 1 pound of ground Peet's Major Dickason's Blend, a bunch of Starbucks Via, and Starbucks Iced Via (awesome). I also bring my own filters, but use the coffee pot in the room. I use the tap water for brewing in the pot, but always use bottled water for the Via's! Coffee in Disney stinks (except for Kona coffee in the Polynesian).
